Elise Lamarra, MS, RN, Chief Operating Office of Friends Life Care Partners, has joined the Board of Directors of Penn Foundation.

Lamarra has more than 33 years of clinical, administrative, and managerial experience in acute care, home health care, hospice care, and managed care. She joined Friends Life Care Partners in 2007 to lead the Care Coordination Department. Lamarra also serves as President of Caring Friends Home Care.

Lamarra earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and her Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). She is a member of the Pennsylvania Home Care Association and serves on its Public Policy Committee. She also serves on the boards of Leading Age PA and Friends Services for the Aging.

“I am pleased to join the Penn Foundation Board of Directors and to use my experience and skills to support its mission of instilling hope, inspiring change, and building community,” says Lamarra. “With the national issues surrounding mental and behavioral health, including the opioid epidemic, I can’t think of a more worthwhile organization to serve.”
