Winter Clothing Drive to Benefit St. Luke’s Penn Foundation

Help spread warmth this winter! From November 15 through December 10, 2021, new winter clothing is being collected for St. Luke’s Penn Foundation clients and residents of all ages. Items being collected are socks, hats, scarves, sweaters, and sweatshirts and can be dropped off at one of four locations:

  • QNB – 240 S. West End Boulevard, Quakertown
  • QNB – 607 W. Chestnut Street, Perkasie
  • QNB – 750 Souderton Road, Souderton
  • Indian Valley Public Library – 100 E. Church Avenue, Telford

“In my role as an Addictions Care Manager at St. Luke’s Penn Foundation, I see firsthand the critical need for winter clothing for our clients,” says Melissa Francomacaro, organizer of the drive. “By contributing to the clothing drive, you will be helping individuals to focus on their treatment and recovery and not on how they will stay safe and warm this winter.”

In addition to Francomacaro’s efforts, the drive wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of Clemmer Moving and Storage who donated the boxes for the collection, and QNB and the Indian Valley Public Library for offering their facilities to serve as collection sites for the local drive.

“St. Luke’s Penn Foundation is a special place because of employees like Melissa whose passion for our mission motivates them to go above-and-beyond their day-to-day responsibilities to meet the needs of our clients,” says Wayne Mugrauer, President, St. Luke’s Penn Foundation. “We are also very fortunate to serve a community who continually answers our call for help. We are incredibly grateful.”
