Barbara Kopystecki, MA, MHP, Named Director of Penn Foundation’s Family Based Services

Barbara Kopystecki, MA, MHP, has been named director of Penn Foundation’s Family Based Services. In this role, she will provide oversight of the program’s four clinical teams, which provide 32 weeks of intensive community and home-based therapy and support for children and adolescents (up to age 21) with emotional and behavioral challenges and their families.

“Family Based Services’ mission is to strengthen the family by promoting awareness of how to create loving, supportive and healing relationships,” says Kopystecki. “I am committed to this ‘relationship revolution’ – focusing on the family as a whole rather than just the child.”

Kopystecki joined Penn Foundation in 1996 and has served and provided leadership in a variety of roles across the agency, most recently as the clinical supervisor for Family Based Services. She holds a variety of certifications including Traumatic Stress Studies and Interpersonal Neurobiology, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Integral QI Gong, Tai Chi and Reiki. She earned her Master’s degree from Penn State University. Kopystecki resides in Fleetwood, Berks County.
