It’s Not Too Late To Support Autumn Event 2019!

Autumn Event 2019 was an incredible evening! We heard Ryan Leaf’s inspiring story, honored Lu Mauro with the Dr. Kratz Service Award, and unveiled our powerful video that speaks to the opioid epidemic and Penn Foundation’s response, thanks to the support of our caring community. The evening raised more than $150,000 to support Penn Foundation’s 27 programs that serve more than 19,000 individuals annually.

An Inspiring Evening of Hope and Resilience

Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf inspired
the audience with his candor, his humor,
and his humility as he shared his journey
from starting NFL quarterback, to prison
inmate, and to person in recovery. He
reminded us of the dangers of society’s
stigma around mental health and substance
abuse and the importance of reaching out
for help if you are struggling.
Lu Mauro, M.Ed., CPRP, receiving the award for her
passion and leadership, which involved creating
an inclusive community that has supported,
encouraged, and instilled hope for countless
individuals living with mental health challenges.
