(SELLERSVILLE, Pa.) – Penn Foundation’s Village of Hope received a $500 donation from Modern Male Barbershop to enable female residents to receive hair services at a local salon. Penn Foundation is grateful for its strong relationship with Modern Male, which has generously donated more than 270 free haircuts to male Penn Foundation clients over the past two years.

Penn Foundation’s Village of Hope is a structured, transitional housing program for adults who are homeless and who struggle with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. It is the only program of its kind in Bucks County. The program is designed to help individuals gain the skills necessary for successful re-entry into the mainstream of life. While living at the Village of Hope for up to two years, residents have access to all of Penn Foundation’s services and are expected to participate in specific programming to build skills and create structure to help them function successfully independently. Many residents also get help with securing employment or pursuing educational opportunities.
