Kim Detwiler Named Penn Foundation’s New Vice President of Advancement and Communications

(SELLERSVILLE, Pa) – Kim Detwiler has been named Penn Foundation’s new Vice President of Advancement and Communications. In this role, she is responsible for all fundraising and communications activities associated with developing the relationships needed to engage the community in supporting Penn Foundation’s mission of instilling hope, inspiring change and building community. As a member of its senior leadership team, Detwiler will also be actively involved in the general management of the organization.

Prior to joining Penn Foundation, Detwiler served as senior vice president and director of corporate communications at Univest Financial Corporation. She is active in the community and serves as first vice chair of the board of directors for the Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce, past president of the board of directors for the Indian Valley Education Foundation and is on church council and serves as the director of children’s music at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown. Detwiler earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Music from Muhlenberg College and currently resides in Harleysville.
