Camp Crossroads Registration Open for November Session

St. Luke’s Penn Foundation is pleased to announce the return of Camp Crossroads, an overnight weekend camp that provides a safe, supportive, and educational environment for youth ages nine through 12 who have been impacted by substance use in their family. The next camp weekend will be November 11-13 at Camp Men-O-Lan in Quakertown.

Camp Crossroads offers campers the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities (such as fishing, hiking, swimming, a climbing wall, and more) as well as therapeutic group activities. The goal of Camp Crossroads is to help campers gain new strengths and learn new coping skills so that they feel empowered to choose a path that breaks the cycle of addiction in their family.

Camp Crossroads is returning under new leadership. Megan Yoder has been named Practice Administrator of Camp Programming. Yoder graduated from the University of Valley Forge with a degree in Youth and Family Studies and a minor in Pastoral Counseling. Previously, she worked as a Youth and Family Counselor for Warwick Family Services and has experience working at Camp Men-O-Lan where she served in various roles including head counselor and camp manager.

“From an early age, the camp life grabbed a hold of me, first as a camper myself and then as a camp staff member,” says Yoder. “I worked at Camp Men-O-Lan in two different roles, and each role made me love and appreciate the camp setting more. I am so excited to join the St. Luke’s Penn Foundation team to bring the healing power of camp to the youth in our community.”

An initial camp application can be found here. For more information, contact Megan Yoder at 215-453-5178 or Megan.Yoder@sluhn.org.
