Hundreds of St. Luke’s Penn Foundation Clients Benefitted from Holiday Drives

While St. Luke’s Penn Foundation has received holiday support in the past, new partners emerged this year to make a significantly greater impact, ensuring a wonderful holiday season for hundreds of St. Luke’s Penn Foundation clients.

Members of St. Luke’s Penn Foundation’s Alumni Fellowship wrapped sweatshirts for inpatient clients.

Collections for giving tree gifts and specific drives for coats and warm clothing were made possible by the generosity of The Perk in Perkasie; QNB in Perkasie, Quakertown, and Souderton; and the Indian Valley Public Library in Telford. Additionally, Sweatshirt of Hope in Telford donated sweatshirts for inpatient rehab patients to open Christmas morning.

In all, more than 250 children, adolescent, and adult clients in various St. Luke’s Penn Foundation programs benefitted from the incredible community support. The drives brought in more than 250 pounds of sweaters, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, and other clothing. In addition to helping clients at St. Luke’s Penn Foundation, there was an additional supply of items that was shared with other local nonprofits.

“We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed a gift or winter clothing for our clients this holiday season,” says Wayne Mugrauer, president, St. Luke’s Penn Foundation. “We are very fortunate to serve a community that continually answers our call for help. We could not deliver our mission of instilling hope, inspiring change, and building community without such caring support.”
